Radio Transceiver - GDM1000 is a
CMOS RF transceiver with a GFSK modem and frequency-hopping synthesizer for Bluetooth
communications. BOM costs are significantly lowered with direct conversion by eliminating
RF board components, such as external SAW, bandpass filters, and on-chip inductors.
It incorporates the complete receive and transmit paths, including PLL, VCO, LNA, PA,
mixer, modulator, demodulator, channel select filters, and digital GFSK modem with
SYNCWORD detector. The GDM1000 chipset requires only an external antenna and crystal to

- STw5288 - Single Chip Bluetooth Radio Transceiver allows an implementation with a
minimum number of external components. Moreover, the chip is produced using STs

on chip of a high-Q tank circuit for the radio synthesiser phaselocked loop (PLL).
