Controller Core BQB v1.1
Available as synthesizable Verilog core with LMP/HCI firmware, the IP can be reconfigured
to operate with any 8/16/32 bit microcontroller on which LMP/HCI firmware resides and be
reconfigured to interface with many Bluetooth radio implementations. It supports
various on-chip FIFOs and sizes and is customisable to minimise the SoC footprint.
The Ethermind Baseband core supports SCL data transfer and executes all datapath functions

Hardware Baseband Controller Core provides a configurable interface to a standard
Bluetooth radio module. It interfaces to a CVSD/ PCM voice CODEC as well as to an ARM7TDMI
processor via the Advanced System Bus (ASB). The Core is available in synthesizable
Verilog RTL. The foundry independent design can be targeted to any library and technology
for integration into ASICs.
Software Baseband Controller is a C source code implementation of the Bluetooth
baseband functionality. Certain portions of the design are implemented as hardware
accelerators. These include the encryption block, correlation logic and interface to the
radio module that are implemented in synthesizable Verilog. The radio module interface
supports different third party radio chipsets. The software baseband solution is available
as a firmware implementation on the ARM7.
